NIMDTA Dental Courses, Events and Simulation Cancellation and Refund Procedure

Cancellation Notice

Where a course is cancelled by NIMDTA, NIMDTA will endeavour to provide delegates with as much notice as possible. A full refund of the booking fee will be provided.
NIMDTA will accept no further liability for any costs incurred by delegates.

Cancellation by Delegate

Delegates cancelling their place on a course must provide at least four weeks’ notice. Where this notice period has been met a full refund will be provided. Where delegates cancel their place on a course less than four weeks prior to the course, no refund will be provided.
In the event of a delegate advising of exceptional circumstances which would preclude course attendance it may be possible to transfer the booking to the same course running on a future date. Should a future course date be unavailable a voucher may be issued to delegates to be used against a future CE course booking. This will be agreed on a case by case basis.
It is not possible to substitute delegates onto a course in place of the registered delegate.

Rescheduling by NIMDTA

Where a course is rescheduled by NIMDTA, bookings will automatically be moved to the rescheduled date and delegates informed by email. NIMDTA require confirmation from a delegate within five working days from receipt of the email from dentalcourses.nimdta@hscni.net, if the rescheduled date is unsuitable. At this point a full refund will be issued. Refund requests received outside of the five working days’ timeframe remain at the discretion of the department.

Failure to Attend

In circumstances where delegates have failed to attend a course for which they have booked, no refund will be provided.
