NIMDTA Dental Courses, Events and Simulation Cancellation and Refund Procedure
Cancellation Notice
Where a course is cancelled by NIMDTA, NIMDTA will endeavour to provide delegates with as much notice as possible. A full refund of the booking fee will be provided.
NIMDTA will accept no further liability for any costs incurred by delegates.
Cancellation by Delegate
Delegates who wish to cancel their place on a course must provide a minimum of four weeks’ notice. Where this notice period is met, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations made less than four weeks prior to the course start date are non-refundable.
Exceptional Circumstances
In cases where a delegate is unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to transfer the booking to an alternative date for the same course.
If no suitable future date is available, a voucher may be provided for use against a future Continuing Education (CE) course booking.
Delegate Substitution
Please note that substitutions for registered delegates are not normally permitted. In exceptional circumstances, NIMDTA may consider a substitution request. All requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval.
Rescheduling by NIMDTA
If a course is rescheduled by NIMDTA, all existing bookings will automatically transfer to the new date. Delegates will be notified by email. Delegates who cannot attend on the rescheduled date must confirm this by replying to dentalcourses.nimdta@hscni.net within five working days of receiving the email. In such cases, a full refund will be issued. Refund requests received after this five-day period will be considered at the discretion of NIMDTA.
Failure to Attend
In circumstances where delegates have failed to attend a course for which they have booked, no refund will be provided.
