Course Description
This one-day course is designed to introduce dental students to the principles and practical applications of implant dentistry within a hospital setting, alongside emerging digital technologies in both implant dentistry and orthodontics.
Course Aims
To provide dental trainees with a foundational understanding of implant dentistry by guiding them through the stages of treatment planning, introducing current surgical and restorative techniques, and exploring the role of digital technologies in both implant dentistry and orthodontics.
Course Objectives
- To understand the treatment planning stages in implant dentistry
- To be updated in the surgical and restorative aspects of implant placement
- To review digital techniques in implant dentistry and orthodontics
Course Learning Content
This hands on day will consist of a combination of presentations, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. By the end of the course, trainees will have gained a foundational understanding of implant treatment planning, restorative procedures, and the role of digital tools in contemporary dental practice
