Paediatric Dental Trauma for the whole Dental Team with Judi Humphreys
Course Aims
- Become confident in managing acute trauma in children in general dental practice
Course Objectives
- Describe the different types of trauma that occur in the primary and permanent dentition
- Understand the immediate management to be provided in general dental practice and review protocols
- Develop appropriate treatment protocols for trauma clinical scenarios
- Access when referral to specialist services may be required
- Identify where safeguarding concerns exist
