Course Description

Course Aims

  • To improve and extend knowledge on Indirect Restorations and further develop clinical skills when preparing Composite Onlays.
  • To educate delegates on the clinical steps involved in the provision of acrylic and cobalt-chrome framework partial dentures.

Course Objectives

  • To improve understanding of the indications for indirect restorations.
  • Provide an enhanced knowledge of preparation techniques for Composite onlays and overlays, with hands on practice included in the Clinical Skills Lab.
  • To improve knowledge of Adhesive Luting Cements.
  • To improve understanding of Intraoral Scanners.

Participants will receive education and advice on:

  • Initial assessment of partially dentate patients.
  • Design methods for acrylic and cobalt chrome framework partial dentures.
  • Clinical steps involved in the provision of partial dentures.
