Course Aims
- To understand the diagnostic and treatment pathways for a range of dental presentations and the importance of holistic care and the role of peer evaluation in improving professional standards.
- The aim of this session is to practice a range of endodontic access cavity preparations in different teeth.
Course Objectives
At end of session, the FD should be able to:
- Accurately self appraise own professional performance in planning and managing patient care.
- Identify and evaluate the appropriate stages in the diagnostic pathway.
- Evaluate treatment options and treatment outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Develop existing manual dexterity skills.
- Practice using indirect vision in endodontic cavity preparation.
- Demonstrate appropriate access cavity preparations for endodontic treatment
