Course Aims
- To introduce Dentists attending this course to the NIMDTA 3D Virtual Reality Simodont system and to use this system to practice full coverage crown preparations on molar and incisor teeth.
- To review specific areas of crown preparations for use in clinical dental practice and to identify possible ways to improve outcomes in these areas.
- To introduce and make use of Videos in teaching and demonstrating these optimal crown preparation principles and techniques.
- To challenge some orthodox thinking about crown preparation techniques.The aims for the course
Course Objectives
- Have a better understanding of how to overcome common problems in full coverage crown preparation treatment.
- Learn with a new Video teaching and demonstration technique, clinically proven crown preparation techniques to make dental practicing life easier by solving an existing problem when providing future restorative full coverage crown treatment.
- Be aware of some techniques which they may not be familiar with, but the using a new Virtual Reality Simodont system to practice these crown preparations on molar and incisor teeth.
