Course Description
This course is designed to support dental professionals returning to clinical practice. It gives you up‑to‑date knowledge, refreshed practical skills, and greater confidence in everyday clinical work. The session also helps you stay aligned with current professional, legal, and safety standards.
Course Aims
- To help dental professionals return to clinical practice with up to date knowledge, refreshed practical skills, and greater confidence while ensuring alignment with current professional, legal, and safety standards.
Course Objectives
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Identify common challenges faced when returning to clinical duties and manage them safely having reviewed national dental guidelines and reviewed the recommended GDC topics.
- Manage complaints effectively and meet Duty of Candour requirements and appreciate legal essentials and compliance.
- Practise and refine manual skills and ergonomics in a safe virtual environment.
- Complete hands on clinical refreshers in the areas of rubber dam, suturing techniques with safe handling of instruments, techniques and review material developments.
Identify CPD needs, and create practical strategies to manage stress and wellbeing.
