Course Description
Course Aims
- For patricipants to take away practical tips when undertaking treatments to
- repaid broken teeth and replace missing teeth.
- The aim of this course is to ensure that neurodiverse patients are able to access the same level of dental care as their neurotypical peers.
Course Objectives
- To understand when to restore teeth using direct or indirect restoration of teeth and what the influencing factors are.
- To understand the difficulties associated with undertaking indirect restoration of broken teeth or the replacement of missing teeth and take away tips as to how these difficulties can be overcome using attention to detail with tooth preparations, records and the information we give to our laboratory.
- Have an increased awareness and understanding of neurodiversity.
- Recognise challenges and barriers that neurodiverse patients may face in a dental setting.
- Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to create an inclusive.

- At the end of this course, participants will be more aware of important factors influencing their treatment outcomes and take away practical tips to ensure they get a predictable outcome for their patients when restoring broken teeth and replacing missing teeth.
