Course Description
This session updates dental professionals on the GDC requirements for enhanced continuing professional development (ECPD) and the role of personal development plans (PDPs). It explains how to plan learning in a structured way and how to record CPD activities correctly. The session also looks at how reflection supports ongoing development and helps shape a personal learning plan.

To update dental professionals on the GDC requirements of enhanced continuing professional development and discuss personal development plans.

At the end of this session delegates should be able to:
- Plan CPD activities using the GDC recommended learning model
- Choose appropriate CPD in line with your learning requirements
- Record appropriately all CPD activities
- Appreciate the GDC requirements regarding personal development planning
- Evaluate and reflect CPD
- Apply learning to the development of a personal learning plan
