Course Aims
- The aim of this session is to develop manual dexterity skills using the Simodont dental trainer.
- To understand the diagnostic and treatment pathways for a range of dental presentations and the importance of holistic care and the role of peer evaluation in improving professional standards.

- Enhance manual dexterity through selected simulation tasks.
- Apply indirect vision techniques confidently across a range of exercises.
- Assess the quality of their own simulated endodontic access cavity preparations using defined criteria.
- Assess the quality of their own simulated indirect restoration preparations using defined criteria.
- Identify areas for improvement and plan further self-directed practice based on personal performance.
- Accurately self-appraise own professional performance in planning and managing patient care.
- Identify and evaluate the appropriate stages in the diagnostic pathway.
- Evaluate treatment options and treatment outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback to peers.
