Course Description
This study day give dental professionals an update on key topics recommended by the GDC. During the session there will be lectures on, radiation protection, oral cancer, equality/diversity and inclusion, medical emergencies and infection prevention and control.
Course Aims
- To update dental professionals on recommended GCD subjects including radiation protection, oral cancer, equality/diversity and inclusion, medical emergencies and infection prevention and control.
Course Objectives
At the end of the session delegates should be able to:
- Highlight radiation protection protocols
- Discuss oral cancer
- Effectively handle a medical emergency
- Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion
- Indicate infection prevention and control protocols
