Course Description
This session helps trainers build confidence in planning and delivering effective teaching in the dental setting. The focus is on practical use of adult learning theory and on creating short, engaging teaching episodes that support trainee development.
We look at what helps adults learn well, the common challenges in a busy clinical environment, and how trainers can adapt their approach to make the most of everyday teaching moments. The session also covers workplace‑based assessments and how to use them in a way that supports learning rather than feeling like a tick-box task.
