- To introduce delegates to the iTop philosophy and principles for improved oral health both personally and for patients.

- Discuss the iTop philosophy for the prevention of oral diseases.
- Recognise the daily challenge of biofilm control in relation to periodontal health and inflammation
- Review the current guidance, facts and figures globally and nationally relating to oral diseases.
- Summarise the three iTop principles (criteria) to evaluate different techniques and tools for improved oral health.
- Practice individualised effective biofilm disruption using a variety of brushes.
- Develop a strategy to implement the iTop philosophy and principles into daily clinical practice.
Course Learning Content
The theory and practical seminar offer participants a comprehensive introduction to the iTop philosophy and its three principal pillars, which serve as guidelines for selecting suitable oral hygiene products for patients. Attendees will also engage in hands-on exercises, practicing toothbrushing and interdental cleaning techniques on themselves using a selection of products from the Curaprox (Curaden) range.
