Course Description

This course is suitable for dentists who would like to review materials used as alternatives to amalgam.

Course Aims

The aims for this hands-on workshop is to highlight and experience non-amalgam filling products that can be used in posterior teeth.

Course Objectives

By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to:

Discuss and plan options for cavity design and restoration

Identify cavity designs and desired material selections

Discuss likely future requirements for restoration selection

Evaluate and apply isolation, matrices selection and placement
Select and complete a restoration with appropriate finishing techniques

Course Learning Content

This will be a hands on workshop with the opportunity to experience dental materials suitable as alternative to amalgam.
