Course Objectives
Oral Surgery: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Recognise and advise on the management of patients taking bisphosphonates, biological agents, anti platelet drugs, warfarin, and novel oral anticoagulants, in line with current national guidance.
Oral Medicine: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Recognise the clinical presentation of common mucosal lesions and salivary gland disease
- Initiate treatment where appropriate
- Discuss the epidemiology of oral cancer
- Recognise risk factors
